I loved this site. I too can remember all these teachers who terrorised our youth, with very fond memories. Mr Seggie (Woodwork) used to start by asking "Are there any little mommies boy's who can't take the belt)? I remember you had to thank him afterwards. George Tulloch, Adam McNaughton, Andy Park. Jim Robin and I went down to McDonald a few years back and it's a children's nursery now. It was funny to stand in that big woodwork room, amongst a crowd of wee weans, where once Messrs Seggie and Forsyth gave us laldy with their belts, t-squares and boots. Happy memories though... And I'm still quite handy with a chisel too - thanks to those guys. I also remember the 'mummies' boys' bit and having to thank him afterwards. I guess there are quite a few teachers today who wouldn't mind reinstating that practice & philosophy. The best days of our lives for sure.
