Have just come across the web site and it brought many happy memories of my time ,1949-54, at the Academy.Recognised many faces in class 2B of 1950? and many faces un-named.I was Burnside House captain in '54 when Douglas Crawford was house master.I'd love to hear from any of my old classmates who remember me. I really enjoyed the web site..I was at RA fron 55 to 61. I loved school and recognised some of the teachers mentioned by a couple of guestbook entries..."Big Bill" Jackson, Dan Livingston, Wee Ma Murphy, "Joe" Cowper and "Charlie" Buchan. Also great memories of the School shows written by staff and school camps in the Cairngorms as well as the Folk Song Club. Cool site. RU having the Ruglen Xmas lights back again this year? Haven't been over for years, but in my day - sort of mid-sixties - the lights weren't up to much. Last year's were much more creative.
