The photographs in this section were taken by Jim Robin (11) on a ‘free’ camera he got in early 1969 by saving up the wrappers from ice lollies (FABS), (purchased at Tait’s Filling Station, Carmunnock), and sending them away. Click on a thumbnail to visit its page. Once there, if you want to download the full-size version of the picture: right click it, choose ‘Save Target As...’, navigate to a suitable folder on your hard disk, and choose ‘Save’. Thus you will acquire the ‘full-size’ or ‘target’ version of the picture, and not just the smaller version as represented on its web page. Whereas, if you only want to see the full-size picture on-screen, simply left-click the picture itself (with the wee pointy hand). Easy peasy. However, because some of these files are quite large, if you’re on a dial up connection, ‘saving’ and ‘viewing’ full-size could take some time. So, please be patient. Meanwhile, if you need help downloading (or with any other aspects of this site), please send us an e-mail and we’ll get straight back to your assistance.
